Their story
The Bucks County Herald, a weekly newspaper located in Lahaska, PA, has implemented SCS’s Community Advertising System. Supplied to the publisher in the form of a subscription, the system offers order entry of classified and display ads, A/R and billing functions, ad dummying and classified pagination, ad creation and management, online self-service and much more.
The Community Advertising System was installed on Local Cloud Appliances that are completely managed by SCS.
The system affordably brings the power of a full-blown advertising and production system to smaller newspapers and those without a large internal IT staff.
The Bucks County Herald, founded in 2002, is a free weekly newspaper distributed in Central and Upper Bucks County and in the New Jersey Delaware River towns. It began with a print run of 3000 covering 12 municipalities, but now 25,000 papers are printed each week covering the news of 37 municipalities.
