Session duration, product characteristics and operator ID are tracked. Session information is saved as part of the application archive.
Statistics about Layout-8000 sessions including publication date, paper, edition, session duration, operator, number of pages, number of ads and other characteristics of the newspaper product are recorded. The information will be used to improve the experience of using Layout-8000. The session data will be used to aid and speed debugging and to help in the analysis leading to more efficient Layout-8000 sessions. To opt out of providing this information, go to the Layout-8000 preferences screen and select “Do not gather session data.”
We do not share any proprietary or confidential newspaper information with any third parties nor do we use any such information for any purposes beyond these stated here.
This site and all SCS applications have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under SCS’s control. Log file access is restricted to system administrators while stored on the server. Log files are rotated regularly and archived in a secure location.
